Paleo Blackberry Crumble

A few weeks ago, Ryan and I decided to make a lifestyle change and become healthier.  After a little research, we knew that Paleo was the way to go.  Honestly, it's the best decision I've made.  I've lost that last bit of baby weight and my skin is glowing.  But as much as I love eating paleo, I was still needing that sweet fix.  You know, like a pie or cake or something.  So I decided to try my hand at baking a Paleo Blackberry Crumble and it was amazeballs.  It was so amazing, I wanted to share it with you! 

What you need:
2 pints blackberries
juice of 1 lemon
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup melted butter (or coconut oil)
2 tbs. maple syrup
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 pinches of sea salt
What you do:
*preheat oven to 375
Place the blackberries in a 9x9 baking dish and squeeze the juice from 1/2 of the lemon over them. Give them a good toss to slightly coat the berries.
In a bowl, combine the almond flour, nuts, melted butter, remaining lemon juice, syrup, cinnamon and salt.
Spread the nut topping evenly over the blackberries until the fruit is bubbly and the topping is golden brown. (roughly 35-40 minutes.)
